Thank you to all who played along last month with the Baby Wipe Reinker
challenge--the winners will be announced on the 15th of this month!
September's Top Winner will receive 3 digital sentiments made by yours
truly, and each stamper who's card is showcased will receive 1 digital
sentiment made by yours truly! ;) Here's the best part--THE WINNERS get
to choose what they want their sentiment to say and what style! If
this doesn't sound like something you'd like, you could choose from some
sentiments that I already have made. :)
This
is how it will work--please email me within 5 days with the
sentiment(s) that you would like and choose from the following styles:
classic (ie Times New Roman type font), elegant (ie cursive font),
whimsical (ie swirly/kid type font), or fun (handwriting font). More
information will be mentioned when the winners are announced!
This month's technique is called Faux Leather Using Masking Tape! I know it's a mouthful, but it is an amazing technique and I love it!!! I promise that it doesn't take that long, just give it a try and I KNOW you'll love it! :)
Faux Leather Using Masking Tape
Materials Needed

Masking Tape
Cardstock
Brown Inks
Sponge
Clear Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
Embellishments, etc. to finish card
"How To"
1. Add small pieces of torn masking tape to your cardstock panel until the panel is filled up completely. It's okay to add some pieces on top of each other to cover up small holes.
2. Sponge brown ink on top of the masking tape. I used two colors of ink, but you can make it as dark or as light as you want to.
3. Cover the panel with dry embossing powder. You do NOT need to add sticky stuff. The embossing powder just naturally sticks to the masking tape.
4. Heat emboss your panel.
And now, some more samples from the Crew~
